Description

LOCTITE 290 is a green, medium-to-high-strength anaerobic threadlocking adhesive designed for locking and sealing threaded fasteners. Its low-viscosity, wicking-grade formulation flows into engaged threads by capillary action, allowing it to be applied to pre-assembled fasteners without disassembly. It cures when confined between close-fitting metal surfaces in the absence of air, helping prevent loosening and leakage caused by vibration and shock. LOCTITE 290 can also be used for sealing porosity in welds, castings, and powdered-metal components.
