Description

LOCTITE 454 is a one-component, clear cyanoacrylate gel adhesive designed for rapid bonding of metals, plastics and elastomers. Its high-viscosity, thixotropic gel consistency prevents the adhesive from running, making it particularly suitable for vertical and overhead applications and for assemblies with larger bond gaps. It can also bond porous materials such as wood, paper, leather and fabric. Difficult-to-bond plastics such as PP, PE and PTFE can be treated with LOCTITE SF 770 primer before bonding. Henkel specifies a typical fixture time on steel of about 45 seconds and gap filling up to 0.25 mm.
