Description
LOCTITE 496 is a one-part, transparent, very low-viscosity cyanoacrylate instant adhesive particularly formulated for bonding metal substrates. Its low viscosity allows it to penetrate very small gaps and is well suited to close-fitting components. The adhesive provides rapid fixturing, typically within 10–30 seconds, and can also be used to bond rubbers and plastics. Difficult-to-bond plastics such as PP, PE and PTFE can be treated with LOCTITE SF 770 primer before bonding.
