Description

LOCTITE 549 is a one-part, orange, medium-strength anaerobic flange sealant designed for sealing close-fitting joints between rigid metal faces and flanges. Its slow-curing, thixotropic formulation cures when isolated from air between close-fitting metal surfaces, forming a reliable form-in-place gasket. It provides an immediate low-pressure seal after flange assembly and is suitable for applications such as pumps, thermostats, compressors, transmission housings and axle covers. Henkel specifies a service temperature range of -55°C to 150°C.
