Description

LOCTITE SF 7387 is a very low-viscosity liquid activator specifically designed to initiate and accelerate the cure of compatible LOCTITE toughened acrylic adhesives. It contains n-heptane and isopropanol and is classified by Henkel as an adhesive activator, not as an adhesive itself. The activator is normally brushed onto one of the mating surfaces before the adhesive is applied to the other surface. For larger bond gaps or when faster curing is required, Henkel recommends activation of both surfaces. After application, the solvent is allowed to evaporate before assembly.
