Description

LOCTITE SF 7471 is a transparent, yellow-to-amber, acetone-based liquid activator formulated to accelerate the curing of LOCTITE anaerobic adhesives and sealants. It is particularly useful on passive or inactive metal surfaces, larger bond gaps, and in low-temperature conditions where normal anaerobic curing can be slower. The activator is normally applied to the bonding surface before the anaerobic adhesive or sealant. Henkel specifies an on-part life of up to 7 days, while fixture time and final cure depend on the adhesive, substrate and activation method.
