Description

LOCTITE SF 7471 is a solvent-based primer/activator designed to accelerate the curing of LOCTITE anaerobic adhesives and sealants. It is particularly useful on passive or inactive metal surfaces, larger bond gaps, and applications where curing temperatures are below 15°C. The 4.5 oz version is supplied as an aerosol can for convenient surface application. The primer is applied to the surface before the anaerobic adhesive or sealant. After the solvent evaporates, the activated surface helps promote faster curing of the compatible anaerobic product. Henkel specifies an on-part life of up to 7 days.
