Description

LOCTITE SF 7471 is a solvent-based anaerobic adhesive activator formulated to accelerate the curing of compatible LOCTITE anaerobic adhesives and sealants. It is particularly useful on passive or inactive metal surfaces, inert substrates, larger bond gaps, and applications where curing takes place below 15°C. The activator is applied to the substrate before the anaerobic adhesive or sealant. It promotes faster fixture and cure without being used as the adhesive itself. Henkel specifies an on-part life of up to 7 days.
