Description

LOCTITE SF 7649 is a solvent-based activator formulated to accelerate the curing of LOCTITE anaerobic adhesives and sealants. It is particularly useful on passive or inactive metal surfaces, inert surfaces, large bond gaps, and applications where curing temperatures are below 15°C (60°F). Henkel officially categorizes SF 7649 as an adhesive activator. The 150 ml version is supplied as an aerosol can for convenient spray application. After application, the solvent is allowed to evaporate before the anaerobic adhesive or sealant is applied. Henkel specifies an on-part life of up to 30 days after activation.
