Description

LOCTITE SF 7649 is a solvent-based primer/activator designed to accelerate the curing of LOCTITE anaerobic adhesives and sealants. It prepares surfaces to promote faster cure, particularly when bonding passive or inactive metals, large bond gaps, or when working at low temperatures below 15°C (60°F). Henkel classifies SF 7649 under adhesive activators. The product is a green, low-viscosity liquid based on acetone. It can be applied by brush or spray to one or both mating surfaces. After the solvent evaporates, the anaerobic adhesive or sealant can be applied.
