Description

LOCTITE SI 5910 is a one-component, moisture-curing silicone gasketing sealant designed for flexible flanges with machined or cast surfaces. Its thixotropic formulation helps prevent excessive migration after application, while its flexibility allows it to accommodate joint movement. It also provides excellent resistance to automotive oils. The product is particularly suited for forming gaskets on stamped sheet-metal covers, including timing covers and oil sumps. It can accommodate gaps up to 1 mm, with a cure-through volume of up to 2.75 mm after 24 hours.
