Description

LOCTITE Grade EV (079) is a purple, low-strength anaerobic threadlocker designed for locking and sealing threaded fasteners where easy removal or adjustment is required. It cures when confined between close-fitting metal surfaces in the absence of air, helping prevent loosening caused by vibration and dynamic loads. Henkel identifies Letter Grade EV (079) under its military-specification threadlocker range. It is particularly suitable for small fasteners and fine/coarse threaded assemblies where serviceability is important. The low-strength formulation allows removal with ordinary hand tools without requiring heat.
