Description

Vibra-Tite VC-3 Threadmate is a removable and reusable threadlocking compound formulated from thermoplastic elastomer resins. Unlike traditional anaerobic threadlockers that cure into a hard, rigid bond, VC-3 remains a flexible, resilient material that absorbs and dampens vibration between mating threads, helping prevent fastener loosening and loss of clamp load. VC-3 can be used on metal, wood and compatible plastics and is suitable for internal or external threads and fasteners of different sizes. After drying, coated fasteners can be adjusted, removed and reused multiple times, making it suitable for assemblies requiring regular service or adjustment.
